I want you to mean what you say,
Want to believe, but you stay
At such a distance,
I keep telling myself 'remain at bay'
And that resistance,
Is my only option, only choice,
I speak to you in my lonely voice,
Much to my dismay,
But it seems, the very instance
I completely disregard you,
You present yourself in the incandescence
I first saw you in.

That light it, I'm almost certain,
Has me blinded, almost worst than,
Stevie, and I wonder if you really see me,
For who I am...
Who am I to you?
I have another question that might embolden you,
Am I he who would do
And retrieve things for you,
While keeping us golden, too?
