“Alone” is the peace I can’t fathom
The unimpressive morrow that yields no sorrow
“Alone” is the company that will not wallow
The invisible friend that resembles no phantom

Silence is the melody sought
Ethereal peace that calms the heart
A battle that is not needed fought
For peace is no atheist art

“Alone” is the peace with no sorrow
The unsightly place as pale as a phantom

The silence of your company
Is all the melody I could use
And even if I may be alone
I know that I’m not on my own
