As the day ends, the orange ball in the west,
Keeps me queered and I try to quest.

It dangles low and ready to rise tomorrow,
Keeps me shivered and reflects my sorrow.

Everything, every song, every noise, reminds me of you,
A face in multitude and thought it was you.

You, like the sun has set, but never to rise again,
In this life, but your rays and your spirit live on,
And as I watch the setting sun, I always bargain
Only to be countered that life has to go on.
