Equitas got converted into small finance back in Sept 2016, and in just a short span of about 9 months the bank has opened more than 300 full-fledged liability branches and is gearing for a Universal bank licence right from day 1. In a chat with ET NOW's Poonam Saney, MD & CEO of Equitas Mr Vasudevan said that growth of 30%+ feasible on steady state basis and sees huge demand of 35-40 lk cr in the underserved segment.
