Environmentalists call for permanent end to native timber logging

Environmentalists want to double the size of Victorian national parks to prevent any return to native timber logging. The state government has brought forward its ban on native timber harvesting to the end of the year and green groups say while it's a win for endangered species, more action is needed to future-proof the decision.
