Encounter underway between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam

An encounter between security forces and terrorists is underway in the Kellam Devsar area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Sunday morning. Security forces cordoned the southern Kashmiri village during the night after getting a tip-off about the presence of 3 to 4 terrorists in the area. As the military was closing in on the group, the terrorists fired on the forces resulting in an encounter. As many as four militants are believed to be trapped.
