Watch this clip where a friendly emu gets up close and personal with a visitor at a wildlife sanctuary, even sitting on her foot as it curiously investigates her.

Mazza Owens from Queensland, Australia, recorded the moment at the David Fleay Wildlife Park where the towering bird approached her while she stood completely still.

The emu appeared fascinated by Mazza and stayed close by as she nervously laughed during the encounter.

Mazza said: “I was standing totally still and this friendly guy came right up close and personal. Was a bit scared not gonna lie — it’s literally taller than me and sat on my foot lmao."
