Kildare based Emersons Kitchen blend influences from Rock, Folk and Contemporary music to create their own sound - fresh although somehow familiar - reflecting the different musical influences of the individual members.
As slightly more seasoned and mature musicians, Emersons Kitchen write tunes which consider the listener, paying attention to melody, lyrics and harmonies. "Its not about us (well maybe just a little). Writing in different styles, sometimes rock, some blues, a bit of funk and even a little pinch of country," Emersons Kitchen believe in the "Good Song" irrespective of genre - "so don't categorise us just yet."
Emersons Kitchen are already making a name for themselves, having two radio interviews under their belts, been profiled in press media, appeared on BalconyTV and are receiving substantial radio airplay. Having just gone live, their debut in the fantastic "Zodiac Sessions," they are eager to get out there and spread their music to new ears. Keep an eye out.
