Through forests of fire and sea we traveled
Amazed by the horrors, bedazzled
Crossed borders
Threatened with death
From pain and suffering
To a bright future we hoped

Weaved through waves of anger
We did
In boats fit
For no fisherman's feet

We lost it all
Home and family
As the old waning government
Launched into an amazing fall

Hope is all we had left
Shattered our dreams were
WE THOUGHT WE WERE HUMAN
BUT I GUESS WE WERE WRONG
