Now-a-days I don't know which way to go,
Confused by this fork at the end of the road,
Because it's to late to go strait,
Left ain't right and right hurts too much,
So right now I'm stuck,

Between,
Leaving the only LOVE I've ever known,
To grasping the concept of being alone,
But I'm in bad need of affection,
An undying want to feel needed,
Emptyness has consoled my soul,
To the point where throwing in the towel is an epiphany,

But every time I hear her voice,
Read her letters,
See her face in my dreams,
All I seem to bleed is faith in her and me,

Then we begin to fuss,
It leads to fights,
Drama revolves around our relationship like the earth does the sun,
I'm just waiting for the solar eclipse of happiness...
That never seems to come,

Visits on occasions,
It hurst to see the light,
Realizing the only woman I would ever consider my wife,
Just might,
Not be the one,

If her LOVE where a bullet,
Then I'd be the broken gun,
She's chambered in my chest,
I extract as much as I want but afraid to eject,

My heart is lodged between emotions and logic,
Where the right thing to do seems stupid,
The wrong path is too tremendous to bear alone,
In search of a non-existent home,

It hurts to leave,
It burns to stay,
Can somebody show me the way,
'Cause I don't know,

Curse the soul of whoever invented the fork...
At the end of this road.
