Eman Awad - Crazy ones.

A mad man went insane,
that's expected.
When he tried to live again,
he was rejected.
Maybe we are the crazy ones,
and the crazy ones are the sane.
That's why they keep them in a place,
far from us and far from the pain.
Crazy ones don't know they're crazy,
you can't till who is sick, you're ill.
A fact of life from other facts amazing,
no wonder that life can turn into hell.
And no wonder insanity take the lead,
it led love and now it leads life.
No one knows what he really need,
or what would really ease his strife.
I knew what makes life so hard,
to live to bare and to understand.
Sadness is the feeling when putting the last card,
the very last in the game and heart is in the hand.
I knew it's aganist the nature that,
the mother goes after her daughter.
I know life is crazy and bad,
wars of all kind lead to man's slaughter.
The beauty is in the word of love,
before love ends but it's too late.
I knew what makes life tough,
some times we don't accept our faite.
I read poems and i never know the meaning,
and they that's the beauty of words.
I lived another life just to know i'm dreaming,
and losing the trace of reality hurts.
I know losing you led to my end,
the end of looking alive to me.
I started to feel the pleasure of pretend,
i become any one else but me.
Care not for who is crazy,
and who didn't lose his sanity.
Thoughts of mine becomes hazy,
however; i invent new rules of gravity.
My poem may be long,
but i reach to you trying.
I'm you with no place to belong,
and a part in me is dying.
World is very hard to understand,
and i fear to understand it at the end of time.
I kneal to my mind's demand,
my hands write and my heart ryhme.
Some times i'm looking at the half full,
and some times that hope is gone.
Off to the place beyond the iris and sun,
but what i never knew is,
who is the real crazy one...
