Eman Askar - My Stupid Heart

Endless rain pouring into my mind
painful storms striking, but i hide
drowning in the river of my own self
but only me should notice & no one else

people act and speak on my behalf
it boils my inner feelings, but i just laugh
my eyes are yelling at my thoughts..
asking them to stop wandering along my mind
they're tired already..and they're ready to close
and switch to the world of dreams where everything is mine

thoughts finally decided to fade away
leaving some traces in my brain to stay

here i am in my world of darkness..its like a maze..i feel so lost
am trying to escape and run, but the places i know are only covered with dust
people i've never met are chasing me to places i've never been to
and wherever i go, i find a memory that reminds me of you

so i just keep running..i wish someone could just wake me up
i'm so tired..its like climbing a mountain that has no top
waaaake meee uppppp...waaaakkeeee meee upppppppp

i screamed out loud, it even brought me back at last
am trying to remember what happened, i couldn't even get a blast
anyway, i'll never go back to sleep...
but this image of yours, makes everything seems so cheap

why don't u just leave me alone..you've invaded my reality and imagination
you've turned me into a freak..you've overcome all my expectations

yes, i tried to put a spell on you..but you cursed me right back!
i aint gonna take this anymore, n am ready for an attack
my weapon is my brain, i should have seen this from the start
my enemy is you...YES, you...my stupid heart! ! ! ! ! ! !
