Elya Thorn - At Your Grave

Near your grave.
Crying here, as I do so many times,
Near your earthly remains,
I think about my loss!

We will meet again,
I know it and also I feel it,
Here! These are the flowers I brought to you,
To make your stay here sweeter,

These flowers will leave their scent
On anyone who will come and whisper
A prayer for you!

And this is how you shall find your way,
Towards us,
When it’s time for us to go,

I would love it if you’ll be my Angel of Death,
My relief from life!

I would love to gaze upon your face,
As the sun will shine in my eyes,
I will need the water from your eyes,
When my soul will start the journey backwards…

I would drift away from this world,
Gladly, if you’d hold my hand!
