SpaceX has once again delayed the launch of its massive Starship rocket, just 30 minutes before liftoff at its Texas launch site. The mission would’ve marked the 10th test flight of the rocket Elon Musk hopes will one day take humans to Mars. But with multiple mid-air explosions and launchpad failures in recent months, questions are rising about how soon — if ever — Starship will truly take off. Here’s what went wrong this time and why it matters.
