There is no moon tonight
Even the stars abandoned the sky
There is only darkness
and the chilling wind by far

There is no moon tonight
No one to listen to my sighs
I need my moon to hear my cries
and comfort me with a smile

There is no moon tonight
Though there are no clouds to hide
I wonder if it has grown tired
Of broken hearts and foolish pride
