Ellirie Aviles - Journey

Witnessed through a blurry sight
sprawling in the midst of the night
Hidden deep within the dark
Hear the beating of the frozen heart

Whilst the heavens cry cold tears-
Brought nostalgic thoughts and fears,

The detailed small beats it make,
As it hits the face of life's lake;
'twas like an infinite needle strike
Encircling me close and closer and diced

Born on silver mansions,
I lived 'till 'twas wrecked
I'm driven away barefooted,
empty handed.
And when I was nearly dead,
I seek my way home- firm decided:
To just remember there's none ahead,
To just discover I was long lost and dead.

I step on the same footprints back to the city
and saw that the quarters I made, they demolished quickly.
The wind has gone stronger against me,
thus I must have been down permanently!
Yet I belittled not the wind alone but me; I can get through all this tragedy!
I am misfortunate yet I am Lucky!
Though starving and lost, still I breath!
Though hath no warm home, I'm in my own country
Though my foot- like my heart was pained and numbing, I still am blessed to have 'em - making my journey possible, enabling these small steps forward to occur.
Then I realized lately, I ain't trapped in a storm. I have just got out of the world which contained me naive... This is reality.
