Of the abyss of the mind dizzying and vast,
where lies the tool of deciphering?
Transparent lines between condition and self.
Where did you learn to laugh
With brassy, shallow complacency?
And where did I learn to recoil
Sick, distressed.
Each noise accumulating
To surround trap pierce destroy consume me.
To remind me of the void I have come to trust,
Yet still seek to fill.
The void I fear to grow every time you laugh.
