You've got some bad habits
that need to be unlearned.

And yet,
You are a wonderful cook
without recipes from a book.

Our house is antiseptic clean,
you are a robotic cleaning machine,

And yet,
You frown at dimples on my thighs
and point out crowfeet around my eyes,

You remind me to step on the scale
each day,

and check my purchases, however small,
account for my hours, where I've been,

As if being without you is a sin.
