Elizabeth Tyrrell - Where I'm From

I'm from Mike and Michelle's branch,
From the annoying little sister,
To the rough older brothers,
From the amazing older sister,
To the weirdo friends.

I'm from the place where I was born,
From the Eiffel Tower of France,
To the plaid skirts of Scotland.

I'm from the family reunions,
From my crazy grandpa,
From the family vacation with dad,
I'm from the walks in the rain without shoes.

I'm from the old rundown home,
From the cranky old neighbors,
To the plants that I've seen,
From the books that I devour,
To the music I listen to,
Heck I'm from the pond where it sparkles in the sun,
Where I go to have picnics and to where I can swim.

I'm from those moments you see,
A person no one understands,
But still a person that lives the same.
