Description

Thy tender heart beats lightly in thy bosom.
Thine angelic face I cradle close, whispering words of comfort to soothe thy troubled sleep.
Thou knowest not the depths of mine heart,
As it beats stolidly for thee alone.
I lie awake this fateful night, watching thee as thou sleepest deeply,
Untroubled by the Chaos surrounding two as we.
We flee by day, searching the vast lands for one hospitable place, one sole source of true freedom.
Thou knowest not of mine own feelings; carrying on as usual.
Thy looks at others torment mine heart, hidden by a placid smile and weary laugh.
The nights are mine own chance to manufacture love,
To create that which exists solely within mine own tortured mind,
As thou liest sleeping tenderly, assuming nothing.
Oh, how I long to see thy dreams, and hope mine efforts are not in vain!
Dost thou dream of me this night?
