Description

I went to see the manager,
To ask him for a rise.
He told me to get out of there
The words did not disguise.

The obvious contempt he felt
As he said “ that’s enough”.
(He really is as stinky
As an after curry guff.)

I wished upon him nasty things
I put upon a curse.
Before the end of this day he
Would need to see a nurse.

The floor outside his office made
As slippery as fried onion.
(The growth that grew upon his head
As lumpy as a bunion) .

The hero stayed at work though,
And leered out through the door,
And made me feel so stupid
For daring to want more.

As lunchtime drew I waited
As patient as a cat
Knowing that the mouse is mine
With one more spiteful pat

The lift was broken, really!
So he must use the stair
As ginger as a halliwell
His steps he chose with care.

The curse took hold within three steps
And threw him down the rest.
His leg broke in ten places,
It really was the best.

Now I’m paid to do his job,
The first lady demolisher.
(I’m just so glad my boyfriend is,
The office boy floor polisher) .
