Elizabeth Clement - A Vampire Story
2 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
A mere mortal.
Unaware of the immortals,
Walking among us.
Now I’m like them,
Haunting the night.
Never to see the light of day again.
If you knew my new un-dead life
You’d fear me for certain,
Because I’ll feed,
On your fear,
On your blood,
On your very soul.
The hunger,
It’s a curse by itself.
Never to be lifted.
Never to end.
So I feed on you mere mortals.
To quench my thirst,
For blood,
So sit down and don’t fret.
I’ll tell the story of my becoming.
I lived a normal life,
But even as a mortal,
I loved the night life,
As I still do,
I walked by that dark alley,
And there he was,
Waiting,
He put his hand over my mouth,
To stifle my screams.
Soon after I stopped fighting,
He was clearly stronger.
He brought me back to his dark and depressing lair.
That’s were he turned me.
The pain was agonizing.
His venom slithering through my veins,
But in the end it is worth it.
Because I’ve seen so much,
I’ve watched evolution,
Take place,
Right before my eyes.
So as the end of my short story
I’ve become something superior
To you mere mortals,
I’m a vampire,
An immortal.
