Elia Michael - Love Shines

A picture treasured is when you appeared
In front of me (in years so far away) .
An instant love was born and I revered
Your form and soul on that auspicious day.
The joy, the pain of accidental meetings,
The gleams in eyes and reddening of cheeks,
Attempts which failed in voicing suited greetings,
And this went on for endless days and weeks.
But often love does fade and die when this,
The early phase is ended; yet not mine.
I see it now as I do reminisce,
A love which radiates a noble shine.

If fate has been unkind and even bad,
I met the one I love and I am glad.
