Description

Dewdrops, like diamonds, sparkling on the grass
Meadowlarks trilling, full-throated . . . melodious—
Blackbirds singing their songs of the season
Blue sky . . . warm sun . . . birds will soon be winging. Daffodils springing up out of the ground,
Watching for the crocus . . . to come around.
Violets making debuts in dresses of velvet . . .
Wild roses unfolding . . . of course, Spring's favorite. Winds blowing o'er the meadow with laughter and glee
Awaiting the rains that will come . . . then flee.
Rain, like big teardrops, watering the earth
Giving life to the seed . . . bringing it to birth. I wonder if Springtime's not God's favorite season
When new life bursts forth . . . Ah! Perhaps that's the reason . . .
That time marches on through Summer, Fall, and Winter—
The circle unbroken . . . SPRINGTIME . . . ENTER!
