Elaine Eatsbabies - My head is sick

But the pain
It never goes away
I keep on fighting every day
But I'm still scared every night
As I lie there lonely but never alone

Not knowing where to turn
Not knowing what to do
So confused
So scared
So lost

The pain never stops
The hurt never goes away
The scars they don't fade
I never want to leave you
But I know one day I won't have a choice

My head is sick
My heart it aches
I cry all the time
I'm so weak
Inside and out

I see the sights
Feel the feelings
Go through my day
One step at a time
But it all seems the same without you

You make me feel how I should
My problems do not evaporate
Yet they seem less important
Less urgent
Less scary

Facing the world together
That's how I like to do it
Holding your hand
I can do anything
Achieve anything

Its the time in between
The time away
Soon it'll be just you and me
Us against the world
And I will never want to leave

Nothing is in my control
I'm not living my own life
My body is taking over
And I can't stop it
That's why I'm always so scared

You tell me to be strong
You blame yourself
But its not you
And its not me
I don't know who or what it is

I'm trying so hard
So hard it hurts
I can't stop the hurt or my head
Because I'm just so sick
My head is so sick it hurts.
