Elaine Eatsbabies - Cold

Cold faces
Cold hands
Cold hearts

Staring,
But not caring

They ask
They prod
They dig
But they get nowhere
They never do

I wish I could escape
Escape
Flee from my misery
But I can't
I never can

The pain it follows me
Follows me like a ghost
I feel nothing
Nothing but pain

I do not want emotions
They get in the way
I will them away
But they never leave me for long

I don't want to hide no more
I don't want to hurt
I know I have no choice
But to conform to the ways of the cold.
