Take your harsh words in
Watch your face's every movement
Life is in slow motion
I see your arm
Coming towards me
I do not move
I am paralyzed

Feel the impact
Fall on the ground
The only pain is in my heart
The empty hole
The hole you cut
Through my soul

I wish I could move
I wish I could fight back
I wish I could yell
I want to see you hurt
The way you always hurt me
I want to let you know
How it feels to be betrayed

And to think that I once loved you
I once trusted you
But you broke that
You broke it all
You broke my heart

When you're alone
Lying in your bed
Think of how it feels
To be beaten down
Suppressed

You say you love me
You say you'll do anything
You say you're hurting
But you don't know pain like I do

When have you been betrayed?
When has your heart been broken every day?
When has your soul been broken?

The hurt that dwells inside is always present
