O may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be

Once far away from Him I tread
When griefs were felt and tears were shed

Bid darkness turn today
Wipe sorrows tears away

When darkness veils his lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace

His work inspiring a greater goal
To reach the depths of a lowly soul

My heart laid bare --- His mercy rare
Blotting out my every sin --- to let His everlasting love - come in ...
