Eight remanded over Johor Jaya assault

Eight suspects, aged between 19 and 37, have been remanded in connection with an alleged assault in Johor Jaya, Johor Baru recently.
Seri Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said on Friday (April 25) that the case is being investigated under Sections 324, 148, and 427 of the Penal Code — for voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons, rioting with weapons, and committing mischief resulting in loss, respectively.
