Egypt allowed some Palestinians to enter its territory from Gaza as of Tuesday morning for three days, for humanitarian cases. Egypt had closed its Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip after the August 5 attack that killed 16 Egyptian border guards but reopened it for Gaza-bound travellers only on Friday.
