Down the glen now

Like the Eagle
Over mountains
Gold and sharp eyed

On the hill now
Like the red bull
Defiant standing

Through the Heather
To the croft now
Leap the burn
Beat the drum
Sword of Scotland
For its bravest
The world over
Beat the drum
Highland brothers
To the Highlands
Like their drum
Do belong
So let the pipes
Their lament
As their spirits
Wander on
Scotland’s bravest

Dance together
All as one
