Effi is a music project of Graz musician Thomas Petritsch. Stylistically, it combines electronic music with influences from jazz and swing, reggae and drum and bass. The name is taken from the novel "Effi Briest" by Theodor Fontane.

The actual album is named CLOSER. Effi consists of the fabulous musicians Thomas Petritsch, Viola Hammer, Martin List, Roland Hanslmeier, Johannes Oppel and Gerhard Ornig.
