EF-3 Tornado While Working in Bensalem

Occurred on July 29, 2021 / Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

: "While working at Lowe’s in Bensalem, PA, I received a tornado alert on my phone and my watch. When I looked out the window I realized the tornado was already on top of us. I had no prior alert on my phone the entire day. When I looked out of the window and saw all of the debris swirling in the air, I immediately pulled out my cell phone and started recording. At one point when the winds picked up, I told my associates to back away from the truck dock, because debris was coming into the receiving area through the flaps of the loading dock. Once it was over, there was debris all over in receiving, a lot of water leaking from the ceiling, and what looked like a massive dust cloud from the tornado. The exterior lot area of the store both front and back received extensive damage. We were definitely lucky."
