James returns to the sheds and tells the others about the new diesel and its mission on Sodor. Thomas believes that the visitors are searching for Lady the magic engine. Edward doesn't know who they are talking about so the engines tell Edward the story of Thomas' adventure on the magic railroad. The next day, things seem normal until an unfortunate accident occurred between three trains. Back at Tidmouth, some of the engines argue with each other until it gets out of hand and the unthinkable happened.
