Ecuador: massive demonstration supports labor code bill

Quito's Plaza Grande square was almost entirely filled by Ecuadorans from all parts of the country expressing support for the new labor code. Labor Minister Carlos Marx Carrasco said that the code is a collective effort. The government opened the doors for workers to participate in a joint drafting of the new labor legislation as part of efforts to seek a more inclusive and participative society. TeleSUR.
