Ecuador lawmakers debate constitutional reforms

A long list of constitutional reforms are under discussion or are to be considered by the Ecuadoran congress. Fifteen amendments are already in the hopper, and an additional 10-12 are likely to be submitted by the ruling Alianza Pais. The constitutional modifications are designed to expand citizen rights and define the relation between autonomous governments and the central government. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito.
