Ecuador Enthusiastically Receives the Pope

Tens of thousands of enthusiastic Ecuadorans lined the streets leading from the Quito airport into the city to greet Pope Francis when he arrived yesterday. It was first papal visit to the country in 30 years. Well-wishers stressed both traditional religious and social justice concerns. One million parishioners are expected for the Pontiff's open air masses in Quito and Guayaquil. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito. teleSUR
