ECOP opposes bill mandating 14th month pay

Workers support a Senate bill that proposes to make 14th month pay mandatory for rank and file employees in both the public and private sector. But the Employers Confederation of the Philippines is against it, saying small and medium enterprises already have a hard time paying the 13th month and the upcoming wage hike.
