Economic recovery

COVID-19 has plunged many economies into turmoil around the world. It has caused massive job losses and slowed down the GDP growth of countries, globally. A new report says G20 nations, like South Africa, India and Brazil are set to face far worse economic consequences than those of their Western Europe and East Asian counterparts. Professor Patrick Bond, from the University of the Western Cape, discusses the challenges.
