Ecodalia - Descent (1997)

Happy Halloween! I guess there is a first time for everything. I have NEVER in the last 30 years ever listened to a goth or darkwave band that there was NO information available about. Such is the case with this band, Echodalia, apparently formed in Madrid, Spain in 1994. You'll never get that off Google, I had to use Bing to find that much.

Apparently, based on listening closely, seems to be at least two members, one male and one female. The song featured in this video today is called "Descent" and was released in a huge compilation by Cleopatra Records in 1997 called Goth's Undead. It is beautiful, haunting, and fast-paced doom music ... the kind I really like ... that brings out the most vivid kinds of darkness imaginable. It is faerie and yet it is goth and yet it is darkwave.
