Description

You are my white haired nemesis
No one knew at your age
wisdom would repose.
You tell people I am imbalanced
behind my back.
Its amazing I still love the
smile polluting your face. I am standing here trying
to conquer my own frown.
I am afraid that you have mistaken
me for a lewd Lolita.
You will never be a paternal replacement.
My honor is worth more
than a kiss in the dark.
All of your life has been stark.
Your golden ring belongs
to someone else.
It stretches on for all eternity.
I look at your hair expecting
it to be black because you
are so mischievous.
Your sinewy hand commandeers mine.
I am a porcelain doll compared to your height.
You shake my tiny hand
so roughly it could fall off.
Though maybe our hands together
makes a beating heart.
The wicked gleam in your
eyes cant turn into love.
No matter how many times I wish it to.
You compliment my non-existent beauty.
Your hands move through my silky
hair like you are playing a melody.
Thank you but a realist cant except another fairytale.
You grab my backside but you cant snag my heart.
Your hands are wrinkly but smooth like thorns.
I have always felt the prick of conscience.
You stand there cursing me
because I have decided
we can never be alone.
My 'no' wasn't as soft as a lone rose petal.
You move away to another country to die.
Rumors are like the wind because
they are forgotten with time.
Meanwhile you're still lost
in the maze of your mind looking for youth.
Now I am hibernating in a bunch of scarves
waiting for love and new friends.
