It was midnight
When you were in my thoughts
Things between us aren’t right
Our true feelings were never brought

I try to get you out of my head
Find some way to move on
But I might as well be dead
Because these feelings will never be gone

Days go by and my world fades away
You left without a goodbye
I only wanted you to stay
And give this a try

But things never turn out right
And I wonder what could have been
She’s gone and out of sight
And I’m forever lost without her
