EC issues notice against SP's Azam Khan

Taking cognizance of recent hate speeches by UP Minister Azam Khan and Union Steal Minister Beni Prasad Verma, the Election Commission has issued a notice to the two leaders seeking explanation from them.

As far as Azam Khan is concerned, he has been issued notice for defying ban and addressing public meetings while Verma has been sought explanation for his objectionable remark that Rahul Gandh's first action after becoming Prime Minister will be to send BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and his aide Amit Shah behind bars.
