Sometimes when it rains
I like to sit
Alone quietly
And just listen to the rain against my window

Thunder echoes across the sky
Remnants of ancient fury
Bright lights flash
As lightening follows

Sometimes when it rains
I stand outside
Experiencing the cold
Which gradually creeps up on me

Tears of pain and anger
Fall from the sky
Falling on my head
Slowly dripping down my body

Sometimes when it rain
I look up
Stare at the ever growing
Black clouds that roll across the sky

I sit in by the fire
Feeling warmth rush back to me
Cuddling up to flame and fire
Banishing all traces of rain

Sometimes when it rain
I like to think
I like to stare up at the sky
I like to live
