NOTE 1:This video aims not to compare but to show the viewers how the interpretation of the song EBB TIDE has evolved from a 1968 rendition by an Italian Diva Mina Mazzini to a 1987 studio recording by the Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez.

NOTE 2: The video featuring Mina Mazzini is the actual MTV being aired on TV back in the 60's as an ad material. (Director: Duccio Tessari)
And hence, you are seein' the ITALIAN Diva MINA as how she looked like in the 60's in B&W.

NOTE 3: Asia's Songbird Regine V. didn't have an MTV for this; she only recorded this for her debut album titled REGINE back in 1987. And she has just celebrated her 20th year in the music industry this year as the most-valued Asian Diva . Hence, the audio you're hearin' now is by the 17 yr old Regine; and the Regine you are seein' on the video is from the footages of an MTV (Director: Louie Ignacio) for a song she recorded back in 2004 (album: COVERS Vol 1), and this is Regine in 2004.

You may also check out other videos of Regine Velasquez paying tribute to barbara Streisand as one of the many influences to her 20 year music career; since Mina and Barbara are contemporaries.
