Easypay Payments at Bookme.pk

Pakistan’s first and largest branchless banking service and a joint venture of Telenor Pakistan and Tameer Microfinance Bank, Easypaisa has entered into an agreement with Bookme.pk to facilitate the online payments for Movie and Bus tickets, through Easypay, Pakistan’s first comprehensive Online Payment Solution.

The traditional way to book a ticket was where the customer had to call in to make a reservation and then go to the bus terminal or the theatre to pay for the ticket prior to the actual bus/movie. Customers were also inconvenienced by standing in long queues that cause delays, often causing them to miss their Bus or Movie.

With the goal of establishing a convenient and efficient E-Ticketing System in Pakistan, Bookme.pk launched Pakistan's first online ticket booking portal in 2014 that supports major transport services and cinema theatres in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Tickets could be booked through a website as well as a user-friendly app that allowed people to browse for upcoming movies, check show times, and book their movie tickets, or review bus schedules, and book seats. Today, Bookme.pk is the most popular services for booking tickets online.

To facilitate the payments for these tickets as well, Easypaisa has partnered with Bookme.pk to integrate their Easypay Online Payments with Bookme.pk. Now customers can both book and pay for tickets online as well, providing additional value and convenience to customers. Today, anybody can make a ticket booking on Bookme.pk and then make the payment at any of the 75,000 Easypaisa shops across 800 cities in Pakistan. These Easypaisa shops are often open till late night and even on weekends, hence providing a lot of convenience to the customer.

In addition, if the customer has an Easypaisa Mobile Account, they can make the payment directly at the time of booking from their Mobile Account instantly. There are no additional charges on making a payment at an Easypaisa shop or from the Easypaisa Mobile Account. To further facilitate customers to try this new way of payments, Easypay is also offering a limited time discount of Rs. 100 off on each ticket purchased through Bookme.pk for up to 5 tickets. There are absolutely no additional service or delivery charges on purchasing tickets through Easypay.
