MSD Pharmaceuticals’ antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) programme for hospitals to rationalize the use antibiotics was initiated in 2008 and it was converted into digital format in early 2014. Currently, doctors in some 140 tertiary care hospitals in India uses this programme.
