the curtains open
people start to scream
i finally realize
that this is my dream
the lights click on

thats when it hits me
how long ive waited for this day

i worked so hard
to make my way up here
gave it my all
blood sweat and tears
let go of everything
that i once knew
but now im happy
because i finally pulled through
