neatly
in a tidy pile
leaving behind
their hims & hers
disappearing into
the depths
of an
Ocean
taking prisoner
shell & starfish.
The water
now a sky
above them
as they below
strangers
in the Land of Fishes.
The wind
discovers
their dead
clothes
& with a whoop
brings them to life
a trousers
(cut offs)
running along the beach
by its
Self
relishing such
freedom
being
chased
by an aquamarine
blue blouse
& a frisky fly-away
wrap-around-skirt
skittish
seductive.
The lovers
emerging
just then
back into the land
where the sun is the sun
& clouds
swim in the sky
clutching their treasures
chuckling at
their nakedness
(they all Eve
& Adam)
innocent
as Paradise
their laughter
chasing
their run away
clothes.
