thought the tragedy

a comedy
of error upon error.

Oh the horror
it was all he could do

not to break
out laughing.

He reined himself in
with a self-satisfied smirk

and a 'Yesssssssssss! '
silently said to himself.

His fortune
out of their
misfourtune.

He had got
everything
by doing...nothing.


All he had done
was pass through and then
pass through again.

The right man
at the wrong time.

He was laughing
(laughing)

all the way
to the throne

wondering whether Shakespeare
would ever write

the comedy of
FORTINBRAS THE FORTUNATE.
